Cinderella Edit

Television movie (1957), Stage Musical (1995), New TV Movie (1997).
Music: Richard Rodgers, Lyrics: Oscar Hammerstein II.

Two made-for-television versions, and one stage production, of the musical based on the classic fairy tale. Pretty young Cinderella is exploited by her mother-in-law and two ugly step-sisters. She has her wish fulfilled to attend the grand ball hosted by Prince Charming, who falls in love with her. Hastily rushing back home at midnight, Cinderella accidentally loses one of her glass slippers, which the Prince finds. He is able to track the owner of the slipper by scouring the region and determining if the slipper fitted the wearer.
